PRO Pediatric Services, is seeking an exceptional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a local intermediate unit.

Job Details:

  • Location: In Wilkes-Barre and surrounding locations
  • Schedule: Full-time during normal school day hours.
  • Caseload: Early Intervention and K-12
  • Requirements: Must have all clearances updated within the year

Job Description:

  • Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Screen, evaluate, and write reports on student levels, needs, strengths, and progress using approved testing and assessment tools
  • Analyze and interpret formal and informal assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for effective instruction to improve student speech/language skills.
  • Works with school personnel and parents to design and implement the student’s intervention plan, individual service plan, or individual student plan most appropriate to address the student’s need
  • Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
  • Complete, update, and maintain required documentation
  • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License
  • PA Department of Education Teaching Certification
  • Must be comfortable using a computer
  • Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
  • Current clearances (within 6 months)
