The following position is open in Frankfort Kentucky, United States.

This position pays $19.13/hour. 

Role Responsibilities

• Perform various assigned tasks related to the safety and security of the plant.
• Normal job performance will require considerable walking, carrying, lifting and climbing stairs.
• Patrolling the plant and grounds - regularly inspect the premises to ensure the safety of people and property.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and alarms for signs of suspicious activity.
• Access control by controlling who enters and exits the facility, checking in visitors, greeting employees, checking bags coming in and out of the facility.
• Respond to alarms and distress calls in a timely manner.
• Reporting and keeping a daily log of rounds and activities and observations.
• Assist visitors and employees in need.
• Perform security inspections and safety checks.
• Secure doors, windows and entrance and exit points.
• Check in and out trucks using our internal Truck Tracker system.
• Will be assigned to the Old Grand Dad and the Old Crow plants.
• Periodic patrols at Jett Rail Facility.
• Must adhere to all safety requirements, to include the wearing of PPE and proper uniform.
• Follows job safety and environmental requirements and communicates concerns to immediate supervisor.
• Follows all Food Safety, 5S and ISO guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
• Perform Agency and Contractor orientations.
• Check in Agency and Contractor employees via ISN.
• Assist with emergency response drills and first aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Prior security or fire safety experience.
• Be able to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• Be able to read and write legibly, in English, with understanding.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education- Have a high school education or equivalent.
• Maintain first aid and CPR certification
• Able to problem solve within the scope of their abilities
• Travel - 0%
