**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving / Truck Driver - $18-20/HR 1st shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Shipper and Receiver who will also operate as a driver for our team. This role involves driving approximately 20% of the time, with a focus on shipping and receiving duties. **Responsibilities** + Manage shipping and receiving activities. + Validate loads on incoming shipments. + Enter data and mark received items using Microsoft Excel. + Utilize scanners for handling shipments. + Pull materials from shelves to package orders. + Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse during downtime. + Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading tasks. + Drive a 24 ft flatbed truck with airbrakes to transport materials to another facility. + Secure materials on the flatbed by strapping them down. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of experience driving a 24 ft flatbed truck. + Ability to secure materials on a flatbed truck. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment involving loading and unloading. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hilo certification is a plus (training available if necessary). + Experience with overhead crane operations is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values your contribution and offers opportunities to develop new skills. The position operates on the first shift from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required depending on workflow. THIS IS LOCATED IN DEARBORN, MICHIGAN **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
