• To scan all UPC labels on boxes of product and load boxes onto trailers according to customer orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Gather correct product according to customer order.
• Check dates and temperature of product to assure they are within USDA and QA requirements.
• Check temperature and condition of trailer before loading product. Clean trailer if needed.
• Scan all boxes of product with hand held scanner.
• Wrap all pallets of product before loading onto trailers.
• Load product onto trailer with pallet jack.
• Communicate problems with scanners or quality of product.         
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company.

Qualifications: (Required/Desired) 

Skills & knowledge needed for the effective performance of essential job functions: 

• Qualified to operate a pallet jack.
• Basic data entry skills to operate scanner.
• Basic reading and math skills.                                   

Physical requirements: 

• Stand and walk duration of shift – all scheduled hours.
• Workable use of both hands.
• Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens).
• Able to reach and bend.
• Able to lift and stack 70 (+/-) lbs.
• Able to climb stairs.

  Environmental conditions: 

  • Cold wet environment.
