Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Remote - must work PST hours

Contract: 4-5 months

Rate: $85/hr on W2

We are seeking a Software Engineer for a short-term engagement focused on developing PowerShell scripts to extract structured data from SQL databases and import it into Oracle. Experience with Power BI for data visualization is a must for designing, developing, and maintaining reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate data extraction from SQL databases
• Import and manage structured data within Oracle databases
• Collaborate with DBAs to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data extraction and import workflows
• Document scripts, processes, and workflows for team knowledge sharing
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Strong experience with SQL and Oracle databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
