Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in accounting? We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Accountant. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing financial functions for multiple locations, ensuring accurate reporting, cash management, bank reconciliations, and budget analysis. You'll also have opportunities to work on special financial projects and analyses, making this a great position to gain valuable hands-on experience.

This is a remote-centric hybrid position, meaning you'll primarily work from home but will be required to come into the office 2-3 times per month.

What You'll Do:As an Entry-Level Accountant, you'll play a vital role in managing financial operations, including:

Acting as the primary financial resource for assigned locations.

Handling cash management and maintaining banking systems.

Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, including general ledger journal entries and cash flow statements.

Conducting financial statement trend analysis and variance reporting.

Reconciling bank accounts and investigating any discrepancies.

Managing payroll and benefits activity, including analysis and recording.

Assisting with legal agreement interpretation, lease analysis, and debt maintenance.

Training location personnel on best practices when financial irregularities are identified.

Participating in special financial projects and analyses as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.

Experience: Public accounting or industry experience is a plus, as is experience in the healthcare sector.

Skills & Qualities:

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Sound judgment and ability to work independently.

Flexibility to accommodate business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends with prior approval.
