Substitute Teacher Cathedral Preschool in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a passionate Preschool Substitute Teacher to join our dedicated team. As a School Teacher at our esteemed preschool, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your dedication and creativity will be valued as you guide and support our children in their early years of development. This position allows you to come in based on your availability. Join us in creating a positive impact on the lives of our students while enjoying a competitive salary of $18 - $19 hourly. Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing lesson plans and activities as directed by the lead teacher
• Provide a safe and loving environment for preschool-aged children
• Follow established classroom procedures and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
• Support individual and group needs of children, including behavior management and conflict resolution
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents to ensure continuity in the children's learning and development

Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
• Understanding of basic classroom management techniques
• Have availability to sub 2+ days a week
