  • Hourly pay: $50-$70/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
  • Worksite: Leading audio, video, and voice technologies company (San Francisco, CA or Atlanta, GA - Onsite)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking a UX Researcher. The successful candidate will expand our capacity, reduce costs, and ensure continuity in delivering user-centered innovation

UX Researcher Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct mixed-methods research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform product and design decisions across key business/product areas.
  • Utilize methods such as usability studies (remote or in-person), user interviews, literature reviews, surveys, ethnographic/field research, and other impactful methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product management, engineering, data science) to define research goals and scope for projects.
  • Manage and execute each step of the research process.

UX Researcher Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in UX research or a related field (e.g., human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, anthropology).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in a range of research methods (e.g., usability testing, ethnographic studies, heuristic evaluations, card sorting, A/B testing), and the ability to apply or combine them effectively.
  • Experience with survey platforms and analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Excel, Tableau).
  • Experience with qualitative research gathering tools (e.g., Dscout, usertesting.com).
  • Ability to translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
  • Interest in conducting research across different technology/device focus areas.
