ATARID Specialist Recruiters, Property and Asset Management Industry have been retained on behalf of our client, a regional developer and manager of affordable housing in need of:
Vice President - Operations
Responsible for overseeing a multi-state operation of affordable housing assets across the US. Demonstrated success developing and improving infrastructure, maximizing efficiencies, and creating a cohesive work environment. Reporting to the President.
Responsibilities:
-Oversite of effectively overseeing multi-state operations of a rapidly expanding company with 9,000+ units and increasing.
-Work closely with the owner, investors, and syndicators to meet objectives.
-Maximize efficiencies, draft policies, update standard operating procedures by working closely with department heads.
-Create and implement capital plans, budgets, policies, procedures, comprehensive training program.
-Establish key performance indicators (KPI).
-Identify improvements in technology to aid smooth operations.
-Maximize returns while continuing to provide quality housing.
-Develop positive relationships with investors and regulators.
-Travel to properties to assist with acquisitions, conferences, training etc. required.
Qualifications:
-10+ years successfully managing multi-state operations of affordable housing assets.
-Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, local City and State programs.
-Experience in finance, budgets, overall operations of a rapidly expanding company.
-Knowledge of major rehabs, renovations and asset management preferred.
-Persuasive leader, excellent communication skills, 'hands on' with the ability to work in a small executive team.
-Proficient in MS 365 and Property Management software, ideally OneSite.
-Travel - some travel required.
Location: Based in the office close to Hackensack, NJ
Compensation: $250,000 Negotiable Commensurate with experience, plus bonus & benefits package.
