Requirements:

- I am looking for a candidate with excellent oral and written communication skills, able to present technical information effectively in formal presentations to both internal and external customers. You should have extensive experience with Cisco Unified Communications Systems and a solid working knowledge of SIP, VoIP network design, VMware, and telecommunications standards. Being a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with the ability to develop technical guidance documents and manage multiple ongoing projects to meet customer requirements and timelines.

Preferred qualifications include advanced vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Teams Telephony deployment experience, PowerShell experience, and familiarity with Cisco Collaboration equipment and software. Experience supporting large-scale voice networks in an enterprise environment is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

- In this role, I need you to work alongside the Network Architect to evolve the Voice Collaboration Architecture for NASA. You will collaborate with AEGIS Engineers across the agency to advance voice networks in alignment with established standards. Your responsibilities will include testing and developing approved voice networking products for the NICS contract, managing and supporting NASA’s Enterprise Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Infrastructure, and developing integration plans for new technologies to enhance customer experience.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for testing and validating new designs and software upgrades in NASA’s lab environment before they are deployed into production. You will also create detailed Release and Deployment Packages (RDP) for implementation by other Voice Engineers and operations personnel. Working with the AEGIS Security team, you will maintain the System Security plan and develop vulnerability resolutions in collaboration with other Voice Engineers. Additionally, you will provide Tier 3 support for Voice Engineers across the Enterprise and develop transition plans to new Voice technologies.

This position is a key role within the AEGIS Sector at Leidos, located in our Huntsville, AL office, focusing on leading the architecture, design, and testing of NASA’s Voice Services across the agency. The anticipated pay range for this position is between $65,000.00 and $117,500.00. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation.
