**Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness** , managed by HealthFitness, is looking for a **Youth Activity Coordinator** to join the YAC team onsite in Bentonville, AR! In this position, you will oversee the planning, coordination, implementation, management, and supervision of youth programs including summer camps and other activities/events ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, _Monday-Friday working approx. 9AM-6PM, must be willing to work alternating weekends. Flexible schedule when school is out._
Oversees the planning, coordination, implementation, management, and supervision of youth programs including summer camps, exercise classes, and other activities/events ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment.
**Key Accountabilities:**
+ Works with the Youth Activity Director to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with HealthFitness and State licensing guidelines, policies, procedures, and applicable laws including recruiting, orienting, training, evaluating, developing, and planning the succession of YAC associates and programs. Plans, assigns, and directs work assignments to ensure youth activity staff and participants remain in compliance and in standards with business needs.
+ Helps to ensure all youth activity staff is properly trained and holds appropriate certifications. Provides staff feedback to ensure quality of all programs and services.
+ Plans, coordinates, and implements out of school programming in compliance with State Licensing. Attends meetings, creates schedules, and provides reports.
+ Leads summer camp program including counselor oversight and develops curriculum, activities, themes, and programs. Implements holiday camps and "day off from school" events to meet the needs of our member families.
+ Schedules & coordinates youth fitness programs.
+ Other duties as needed/assigned.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 18 years old.
+ Bachelor's degree in education, childcare, recreation, or related discipline OR the equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
+ Minimum of 1+ years of prior supervisory experience and prior interactive experience with children ideally in a school, childcare, or afterschool program setting.
+ Adult/Child CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, National Safety Council, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
+ Excellent customer service, communication, leadership, and supervisory skills.
+ Must be able to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard system.
+ Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Compensation: $39,000-$42,000/year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
