Stebelton Snider LPA, a full-service law firm operating for over 45 years in Lancaster, Ohio, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our Director of Finance with the firm’s daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable, including vendor payments and employee reimbursements
• Prepare checks for trust and probate client needs
• Convert prospective clients to active clients in firm management software
• Enter payments received and create deposit records
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements
• Perform data entry and maintain financial records
• Serve as a back-up receptionist as needed
• Assist with mail runs and office errands

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two accounting courses OR 6 months of accounting experience
• Strong customer service and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Comfortable working with digital tools and software to complete daily tasks
• Ability to sit and type for extended periods (standing desks are provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to walk several blocks as needed

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, in-office position Monday-Friday at our office in Lancaster's Historic District. Stebelton Snider offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including PTO.
