Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Business Development Specialist with deep knowledge of the private equity, investment banking, and capital markets landscape. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in one or more of these sectors and a strong understanding of the tech ecosystems that support them.
This role involves leveraging your network and expertise to drive Monarch’s growth through partnerships, targeted outreach, and participation in M&A conferences. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, pitching our business model, and positioning Monarch as a leader in staff augmentation and SaaS collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
Experience : 5+ years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, or capital markets is required. Business development or sales experience is a plus.
Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding and deep knowledge of M&A conferences, private capital markets, and relevant SaaS technologies.
Networking Skills : Proven ability to leverage professional networks to create opportunities and build relationships.
Tech Savvy : Deep knowledge and familiarity with SaaS solutions in the private capital markets space.
Soft Skills : Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experienced in making successful pitches and proposals.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. MBA preferred but not required.
Benefits
The salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for performance-based commissions directly tied to closed sales.
