Job Description

Main Function:

Responsible for the total cold food production for patient and personnel food service using standardized recipes based on standardized portion sizes.

- Responsible for the preparation, set-up, serving and picking up of all special functions, meetings, luncheons and dinners.

- Responsible for the preparation of all juices, puddings, gelatins and custards and for maintaining a high standard of safety and sanitation.

- Prepares total cold food production for patient meal service using standardized recipes based on

standardized portion sizes.

- Prepares and assembles all platters according to diet and diagram.

- Prepares and assembles all desserts needed for the trayline.

- Prepares all small salads and small desserts for trayline.

- Responsible for the preparation of all salads, jellos, custards, and pudding needed for the

following days meal.

Qualifications

Required:

Prior food preparation experience

Preferred:

Knowledge of Sanitation and Safety Standards

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-Time:5:30 am - 2:00 pm Monday through Friday, every other weekend, and holidays
