Now Hiring: Creative Director

We’re looking for a  Creative Director  who will be the creative leader and driving force behind our bringing our creative ideas to life. From digital design to copy writing to expertly capturing the look and feel of our organizations, you will be the artist behind it all. Supporting both Climate First Bank and OneEthos (and any potential future companies under our holding company), you will help develop compelling campaigns, capture our audience with your story telling and deliver wow-worthy designs both digitally and analog. The ideal candidate is an artist across disciplines with the ability to create, execute and produce high quality content efficiently.

Compensation In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives and equity. To determine the specific salary offered for this role, we consider industry salary ranges, existing salary structures for this job family, background, skill and experience. The total compensation package will be determined based on factors such as position level, experience and other job-related factors.

What You’ll Contribute as a Creative Director:

  • Creative Leadership – You help develop and execute our creative strategy as well as materials for product marketing. Understanding the unique requirements for the look and feel of Marketing communications in a financial institution and fintech, you consistently deliver and finetune output that perfectly captures who we are and how we want to reach our customers. As a strong leader of junior designers and interns, you direct and execute creative vision with precision, efficiency and take both day-to-day designs and our overall strategy to new heights.
  • Multi-Discipline Artistry – You utilize your diverse creative talents to create and word smith compelling copy and create striking designs by hand or using digital tools for a variety of marketing materials from flyers to signs to digital content and beyond. You are able to understand and transform raw vision into products that are consistent to our brand, tone and visual expectations.
  • Team Building and Management – You build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary creative team. Leveraging your passion for creative excellence and results-driven leadership, you align your team under our creative vision and help drive our pursuit of excellence and efficiency. As are all of our leaders, you will be a working manager and expected to balance your leadership responsibilities with actively producing content.
  • Brand Stewardship – You own the brand development and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints, including digital, print, in-branch, and community engagement.
  • Digital Innovation – Executing our vision of being a trailblazer at the intersection of finance and technology, you design and implement digital transformation initiatives, including website redesigns, social media strategy, and digital advertising.

  • Protect our Organization and our Customers -  You quickly pursue and demonstrate an understanding of all established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations, but especially those defined by BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC. All employees are expected to stay vigilant of cyber security and other security threats and to closely collaborate with our Compliance and IT departments on the investigation and processing of potential threats and fraudulent activity. You will regularly complete mandatory compliance and IT training.

You have a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in creative leadership and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications or business (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). They are also a compliance wiz with excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially with regards to the marketing of financial products and services.

What to expect from your physical environment

  • Remote role within the State of Florida, ideally local to Central Florida.
  • On site travel within the US may be required for company events and leadership sessions.
  • Sustained standing and sitting.

  • Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
  • Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
