Description The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Geolocation Operator - Sierra qualified candidate who is looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment. This position is on a future contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Augusta, GA area. Primary Responsibilities The Journeyman Operator shall perform operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest. The JO-Sierra also performs signals analysis in order to identify collected signals. The Journeyman Operators will mentor less experienced Operators to enhance and reinforce the training program and operational TTPs. Basic Qualifications Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. BA degree and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience; or a Masters with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Current certification from Joint Overhead ISR Operations in a non-APG geolocation method Prior completion of the Intermediate (451) or Advanced (452) Signals Analysis Course Preferred Qualifications Formal training and/or demonstrated proficiency as a linguist in a foreign language. Current certification in one or more Aerial Precision Geolocation (APG) modes LucidLobster Original Posting Date: 2024-12-12 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
