Job Description

Job Title: VP Finance

Job Purpose:

The Vice President | Finance will oversee all financial aspects of our organization and drive business growth. This role will provide strategic guidance to executive management and have a strong background in finance, accounting & leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies in line with company goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage financial department staff, including accounting and budgeting, risk & tax management
  • Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
  • Provide guidance to executive management on financial matters, including financial analysis and forecasting
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with all finance and accounting regulations and laws
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop long-term financial plans and budgets
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and investors
  • Collaborate with VP of Cash Management to monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity of the organization
  • Present financial reports to executive management and board of directors on a regular basis
  • Reports to and supports CFO with special projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA/MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with financial and accounting software, and knowledge of industry regulations and laws
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of improving financial performance and driving business growth
