We are seeking a high-energy professional to lead and grow our transportation business. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team of customer support associates, and driving business success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the grit to take ownership of challenges and opportunities. The best candidate will have fleet management and start up experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Achieve Operational & Financial Goals – Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including utilization rates, rental revenue, fleet efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores.
• Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and evaluate customer support and fleet teams, fostering a high-performance work environment.
• Oversee Operations – Manage all aspects of the rental process, including customer interactions (email, text, phone, in-person), vehicle launches, returns, swaps, repossessions, and market-related inquiries.
• Administrative & HR Tasks – Handle payroll submissions, PTO requests, and direct report development while ensuring smooth operational workflows.
• Fleet Coordination – Work closely with garage facilities to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
• Customer Issue Resolution – Provide outstanding customer support and quickly address any concerns to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
• Data & Performance Tracking – Generate weekly reports and analyze key business metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, analytics, or a related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in rental car operations, retail, automotive, or hospitality industries.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally in a tech-enabled or fast-paced business environment.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and the ability to build systematic models for tracking key metrics.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to take ownership and make a lasting impact.
